I have said it before and I will say it again, if you enjoy a good story, told with enthsiasm and humour you must go and see John Edgar. John is a story teller, a good one, the type that takes you along with him to the places he talks about, to meet the people and creatures that come from the stories he tells, and I met him last night
and he didn’t disappoint.

So as you have guessed last night we headed to the Alan Garner Centre to see John tell Normandy Tales. Stories of fairies, werewolves, a table that is always full of food and a donkey that poops gold, a ghostly love story and much more. But I am not going to tell you because I want you to go and see for yourself, and just so you can’t say you didn’t know here are his site and his diary.

Now if you will excuse me I am going for a cuppa and John is going to tell me another story… I brought him home with me…well on a CD anyway, (which you can also buy from his site, I think).

And remember the time to be happy is now.
