And people I know. I am going to tell you what I did last month, feel free to laugh, I sent my mother-in-law a birthday card with 70 on, she was only 69. Now it wasn’t my fault, (well it was I should have checked). I got all confused, this is how it happen. We went for a visit and as we were chatting she remarked ‘well I am nearly 70.’ A few more conversations later she said she was going away for her birthday, she wasn’t spending money on a party so other people could enjoy themselves. I put two and two together and got five! Ooops.

On the news this morning the number of women going through the glass roof is falling, a call for flexible working hours is being called for. As it ever occurred to the people who decided these things to ask women what they want. It is not that unbelievable that women are now seeing that staying at home and bringing up their children is a job in it’s self and no longer want high power jobs with long hours and stress.

Schools are being urged to make children stay school dinners by serving it on china plates. I think they need to look at the food, while some schools do serve good meals there are a lot that don’t. I wouldn’t have eaten what was served up at the school I used to work in.
