I am turning into a teenager, when I got up this morning I had a huge spot above my left eyebrow. It’s one of those yellow puss filled ones; I haven’t had a spot like this since I was 13. The temptation not to squeeze is killing me!
It’s a lovely day today, the sun is out, it’s warm, but most of all its dry. I have loads of washing on the lines; have cleaned up all the mess from our drive, left by the workmen who were working on next door. Cut the grass, cleaned out the pond, weeded, re-potted the Spanish beet and (it’s killed me to do it), put some ant powder and slug pellets around them, all I have is stalks! And just to make sure I have planted more Spanish beet seeds. We have loads of tomatoes on; just need the sun now to turn them, one little ones is making an effort.
The strawberries are re-potting themselves, so I shall have lots more next year
The chillies are doing well, there are about twenty of them
But only one pepper
And as you can see, I still haven’t worked out how to put the photos on in the right place!
Be Happy

I am going to put me up a clothes line. I love the smell of clothes dried outside. It will have to be a retractible one I guess. I used to dry everything outside when I lived on the farm. The tomatoes look wonderful. I love the green ones fried, too.

Judy, we have two rotary lines, when we are not using them we stick them in a cupboard, best of both worlds.
