First apologies for there not being any photos, the place I usually use to post them now has do not use this link in big red letters above the link. Then says use forum instead. I have tried this but it won’t post my photos, so I tried the one on the word press page, but I can’t get it to put the photos where I want them and you have to post them all backwards, or it could just be me, thinking about it, it properly is me.
Anyway back to the walk we took today, we went to Pipershill and Dodderhill Common. It’s not a very big wood, but you can wonder round for hours as it is very disorientating. Some of the trees are over 400 years old and are lovely shapes, although some of them are looking their age, a lot are falling to bits! We found some lovely fungi and tiny birds, which at first we thought were butterflies fluttering past us until they landed.
As soon as I can workout how to put on more than one photo, I will put a few on, until then. Well you all know what a tree looks like.
