We had a storm and half last night. Thunder, lighting and that much rain it flooded the street. Some of the lighting sent the sky a lovely pink colour, fantastic, although I am not sure the salad leaves agree. Poor little things are flat on the floor! And I don’t think it has cooled the air off much.

Poor old Weston-super-mare, now they have no pier, its gone, burnt to the ground or sea in this case, no make that ground, the sea is never in at Weston. One report say that now Weston had lost one of its most popular tourist attractions, as far as I remember the pier is the only attraction Weston has! We have been a few times, (it’s our nearest seaside town), it’s always either cold, or has gale force winds and the sea is never in, I lie, we have seen the sea at Weston once. But saying all that, we have had some really fun days out at Weston.

It is a shame about the pier, I love a good pier almost as much as a good bridge. (Yes I know, but really I can’t help it). So you are a baby boomer too, together we will change the world, or else cause chaos, ha ha
